Rumors Opening Friday!!

The Shawnee Playhouse™ Beginning Spetember 24th, Center Stage Players conclude their 21st season with the hilarious comedy Rumors. A co-production with The Shawnee Playhouse, Rumors will run for a total of 23 performances through October 24th.

The NY Times describes Rumors as an... “old fashioned, door-slamming, crockery-smashing farce”. A De...puty Mayor of New York and his wife have invited four couples to their suburban home to celebrate their tenth we...dding anniversary. The first couple arrives to find the hostess gone and the host lying upstairs with a superficial bullet wound. They try to hide what appears to be a scandal from the second couple who try to hide it from the third and so on, until all the guests are caught in a hilariously mad melee of rumor and misunderstanding.
